Elite or Premier Elite model door is Florida Approved and DP70 rated for both in swing and out swing with surface mounted throw bolts.
Premier model door is Florida Approved and DP 50 rated as an out swing with standard throw bolt.
The door thickness is 2" and the weight of the door will vary depending on the style and size.
A 3'0" x 8'0" door weighs approximately 200 - 250 lbs.
Our iron doors and frame are constructed of combination 12 & 14 gauge steel
and the decorative, hand forged, wrought iron scrolling is 5/8".
Every order will be custom manufactured to meet your specifications enabling any design to fit any sized entry unit single or double.
We use the finest quality materials which include 1/2" heavy duty ball bearing hinges, polyurethane foam filled frames and door panels for superior insulation which will also block out exterior noise.
All hand forged scroll work utilizes solid 1/2" or 5/8" steel bar. The units come pre-hung and include the jamb, hinges, weather stripping, sweep and custom faux finish. We prep all entry doors for standard hardware, however, 
custom mortise applications are available. The doors can also be prepped for commercial applications such as closers and exit panic devices. ADA requirements can be met if necessary. Double door units include a custom T-astragal with seats and flush bolts to secure the inactive side of the unit.
Our doors weather extremely well. Our acrylic paint process is one of the best in our industry. The surface is floated level and then automotive primer are applied to prevent oxidation. Two coats of a tough high grade acrylic black base are then applied. Finally, the unit receives two additional layers of the selected faux finish and two layers of a sealant to maximize the weatherizing process.
Our Iron doors also boast individually hinged glass for cleaning ease, ventalation and security.
